For inspired audiobook narrators ready to take their work to the next level, this eight-week acting intensive is limited to ten participants.

• Eight Zoom workshops (approximately two hours each), culminating in two new professionally produced demos for you (You’ll need your own recording space and equipment.)

Curriculum

Unit 1 - The Actor Master physical and vocal technique for extending range and choice options when creating characters, and learn to maintain vocal health; techniques from Grotowski

Unit 2 - The Character Learn text analysis skills to deepen the process of character discovery; techniques from Uta Hagen, Meisner, and Stanislavsky

Unit 3 - The Director Internalize and master the process of crafting characters in your narration; learn to suspend self-judgment and turn your inner critic into an effective inner director

Unit 4 - The Entrepreneur Learn best industry practices to utilize a growth mindset to help your business succeed.
