Turning Off the Inner Critic: Self-Direction

This class explores the self direction process for narrators: how to rehearse, “listen loosely” to our work in the moment, make adjustments and stay concentrated.

  • How do we discover and stay connected to our audience?

  • How do we find the tone of a particular scene?

  • What questions can we ask ourselves while in the process of recording to deepen our commitment to the emotional journey and subtext of the characters while working?

This class covers a list of directing prompts to create greater clarity and nuance of storytelling, characterdevelopment, and consistency during your narration process.

Class is $119, Payable via Zelle (preferred, margueritegavinnarration@gmail.com). Or check.
